I first met Taylor Risk when we cast him as Troy in a local production I was directing of High School Musical. I had the opportunity to work with Taylor as a private vocal coach after that and was always impressed with his ability to play the piano like crazy. He’s an amazing jazz pianist! We worked a lot on his vocal mix and bringing more dexterity to his voice without the weight. One thing he always had from the get-go is his great pop style.
